PRACTICAL INFORMATION FOR COMPETITORS TO THE Jicable19 YOUNG RESEARCHER’S CONTEST

ACCEPTANCE

As part of the Jicable conferences, which take place every four years, it is traditional to organize a competition for young researchers to renew our professional community.
A Call for Papers is issued for them, covering the same topics as the main conference. To be eligible, author must be undergraduate students or graduate researchers in their first or second year.
Abstracts received are evaluated by an ad hoc jury under the direction of its president.

The chairman of the Jicable19 Young researcher’s Jury is Mr. Marc Jeroense

The authors of accepted abstracts must send a paper, of up to 6 pages in a precise format according to a template provided (http://www.jicable.org/resources/template_and_guidelines_for_the_submission_of_the_final_paper.dotx ) which will be included in the proceedings of the conference subject to proofreading and acceptance.

They must also present a poster during a particular session of the conference to interested delegates and to the jury of the competition.
The jury will award after deliberation a prize to the three best entries in the contest taking into account the written communication and the poster presentation.
Authors of selected papers will be exempt from conference registration fees, they will also receive a grant to help their participation.

Papers will be reviewed by a jury during the conference.

The authors of the three best Papers / Posters will receive prizes respectively of € 1,500 (First prize), € 1,000 (Second prize) and € 500 (Third prize).

DEADLINE TO SEND YOUR FULL PAPER

Authors of accepted abstracts must send their full paper by May 3rd 2019 at the latest to oxford abstracts.
